Counselor, advocate, and fellow human doing the work alongside you.
Request a ConsultationI became a counselor because I've seen what it means to carry more than you were meant to carry — and I've seen what becomes possible when someone finally has a space to set it down, look at it clearly, and decide what to do with it.
Before I was a counselor, I spent years in roles that taught me about people: about pressure, about the gap between what we show the world and what we feel inside, about how quietly people can struggle even when everything looks fine from the outside. Those years shaped my belief that good therapy isn't about diagnosis — it's about understanding.
I work with individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and the weight of trying to hold it all together. Some of my clients come in knowing exactly what they want to work on. Others just know something needs to shift. Both are welcome.
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. You are the expert on your own experience — my job is to help you understand that experience more clearly and build the tools to navigate it with greater confidence.
My work is informed by several evidence-based approaches:
Above all, I believe therapy should feel human. I'm not a blank screen — I'm relational, direct, and present. I'll ask questions, offer observations, and sometimes challenge you, always with respect for the trust you've placed in me.
Honesty over performance. You don't need to have the right words or show up put-together. You just need to show up.
Pacing over pressure. We go at your speed. Growth that lasts is growth that's grounded, not rushed.
Practical over abstract. Insight matters, but so does having something concrete to take with you. We'll work toward both.
Wholeness over perfection. The goal isn't to become a flawless version of yourself. It's to become more fully yourself — with greater freedom, honesty, and resilience.
Outside the therapy room, I'm a husband, a father, and someone who believes in staying grounded. I find renewal in the outdoors, in good conversation, and in the kind of quiet that's hard to come by. I know the value of a life that feels balanced — and I know how much work it takes to build one.
If you're curious about working together, I'd welcome a conversation. There's no pressure — just a chance to see if it feels like a fit.
